-B, --bug-report

Specifies the path to write a zip file containing a version of the [OUT], [ERR], and [LOG] files.

Syntax

-B [ARCHIVE]
--bug-report=[ARCHIVE]

Description

--bug-report enables sufficiently verbose output (equivalent to -v -v -v -v) and specifies to Data Hauler to create a zip file called [ARCHIVE].1010zip that contains [ARCHIVE].1010log, [ARCHIVE].1010err, and [ARCHIVE].1010xml. If any of those files already exist, they are overwritten.

Since Data Hauler invokes TenUp to upload each table, it also creates a zip file for each table that it uploads. This zip file for each table contains a .1010log, .1010err, and .1010xml file.

The 1010zip file is a convenient way to send your error and log files to the 1010data Support Portal. See Submit a support request for more information.

Example

Your Data Hauler command contains the following:
--bug-report=logfile
You have uploaded the following tables to the destination path in 1010data Insights Platform called [DSTPATH]:
  • sales.jan
  • sales.feb

After the process terminates, Data Hauler creates a zip file called logfile. logfile contains the following files:

logfile.1010log
logfile.1010err
logfile.1010xml
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.feb

The files logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan and logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.feb are zip files created by the TenUp commands underlying the Data Hauler command.

The zip file logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan, contains the following files:
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan.1010log
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan.1010err
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan.1010xml

Similarly, logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.feb contains the following files:

logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.feb.1010log
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.feb.1010err
logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.feb.1010xml
