--config

Specifies the path to an existing configuration file for whitelist, blacklist, rename, and passthrough options.

Syntax

--config=[CONFIG]

Description

A configuration file contains the repeatable options with long arguments, which may be onerous to input into your Data Hauler command. Users must specify the name of the option and any arguments in a Microsoft .ini file format. If the option contains multiple arguments, each argument should be entered on a new line.

[CONFIG] is the complete path to the existing configuration file.

There are four options that can be included in a configuration file. Of these options, three of them also do wildcard expansion:

Switch Does wildcard expansion?
--whitelist Yes
--blacklist Yes
--rename No
--passthrough Yes

See Data Hauler: Using a wildcard character for more information about wildcard expansion.

Example

This is an example config file:

[Whitelist]
sales_database.store
sales_database.product
sales_database.sales_detail
sales_database.store_prefs

[Rename]
sales_database.sales_detail=itemized_sales

[Passthrough]
sales_database.store_prefs= -Z --pipeline --max-column-size=2048 --max-down 4194304
