--xmllog

Specifies the path where Data Hauler writes XML logs.

Syntax

--xmllog=[LOG]
--xmllog+=[LOG]

Description

Data Hauler writes XML logs and TenUp XML logs for each table at the location specified by [LOG]. The extension for this file should be .1010xml. If that file already exists, it will be overwritten.

Use += to append to [LOG].

Data Hauler also creates TenUp XML logs for each table. The name of this file depends on what is specified as [LOG]. If you do not specify a file extension, Data Hauler creates a file named with the following format for each table:
[LOG].[DSTPATH].[TABLE_PATH]
If you specify a file extension, Data Hauler creates a tenup XML file named with the following format for each table:
[LOG].[DSTPATH].[TABLE_PATH].[EXTENSION]

Example

If you have tables with these paths and you use --xmllog:
  • sales.jan
  • sales.feb
Data Hauler creates the following:
[LOG] specified Files created
logfile logfile

logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan

logfile.[DSTPATH]. sales.feb

logfile.1010xml logfile.1010xml

logfile.[DSTPATH].sales.jan.1010xml

logfile.[DSTPATH]. sales.feb.1010xml
