-X, --index-columns

Specifies the column names to be indexed.

-X [NAME1],[NAME2],[NAME3],...,[NAMEn]

[NAME1] to [NAMEn] represent column names in the order they are to be indexed. Indexing improves the performance of some kinds of analysis by mapping the location of specific values in a column based on where they are located in a segment. However, indexing increases the column's footprint on disk. By default, the columns are not indexed.
