< (less than)
The less than operator (<) returns a
boolean value indicating whether the value of the first argument is less than the value of the
second.

Return Value
Returns a boolean value of 1 or 0 indicating whether or
not X is less than Y.
The data type of the result is integer.
If X is N/A, the result is 1; otherwise, if
Y is N/A the result is 0. (N/A is treated as if it were
less than any other value.)
