Macro Language Workshop
The Macro Language Workshop offers a rich set of tools for writing, executing, and debugging 1010data Insights Platform Macro Language queries and QuickApps in the new web interface.
Results pane
The results pane is displayed on the right side of the Trillion-Row Spreadsheet window and Macro Language Workshop.
Single-row view
View the cells in a single row of data, arranged vertically.
View data one row at a time
You can change your view to just a single row to see all of the information pertaining to that row, which is particularly useful when a table has many columns.

Macro Language Workshop
The Macro Language Workshop offers a rich set of tools for writing, executing, and debugging 1010data Insights Platform Macro Language queries and QuickApps in the new web interface.
- Results pane
  The results pane is displayed on the right side of the Trillion-Row Spreadsheet window and Macro Language Workshop.
  - View bar
    Choose how data is displayed in the results pane of the Trillion-Row Spreadsheet and Macro Language Workshop.
  - Grid view
    The Grid view displays data in an infinitely-scrollable, spreadsheet-like interface in the results pane of the Trillion-Row Spreadsheet.
  - Single-row view
    View the cells in a single row of data, arranged vertically.
    - View data one row at a time
      You can change your view to just a single row to see all of the information pertaining to that row, which is particularly useful when a table has many columns.
  - Data Dictionary
    Displays the metadata of columns and tables in the analysis.
  - Visualization
    Displays the chart created from the data analysis.
  - Display a view from the view history
    Display a different view from the view history.
  - Clone the TRS window
    Clone the current view in the Trillion-Row Spreadsheet to a new TRS window.
- Menu bar
  The Macro Language Workshop menu bar provides access to the features and functionality available to you in the Macro Language Workshop.
- Open the Macro Language Workshop
  The Macro Language Workshop in the new Insights Platform web interface is easily accessed via the Tools menu.
- Specify a base table
  It is necessary to specify a base table when writing a new query in the Macro Language Workshop.
- Open a saved query
  Queries saved in the 1010data Insights Platform can be opened directly from the Macro Language Workshop.
- Render a query
  To see the results of a query, it is necessary to select a render option.
- Save a new query
  1010data Insights Platform Macro Language queries can be saved directly from the Macro Language Workshop. Follow the steps in this task to save a new query.
- Save an existing query
  1010data Insights Platform Macro Language queries can be saved directly from the Macro Language Workshop. Follow the steps in this task to save a new query.

View data one row at a time

You can change your view to just a single row to see all of the information pertaining to that row, which is particularly useful when a table has many columns.

To view data one row at time:

Do one of the following:
- In the results pane of the Trillion-Row Spreadsheet, click the Single-row view () icon.
- In the grid of the results pane, right-click any entry and select View this row in single-row mode.
A list of all the columns and their values for the current row is displayed. The current row number is also shown above the list.

To view different rows, click one of the following icons:

Choice	Result
Previous row ()	Displays the previous row of the table in the Single-row view.
Next row ()	Displays the next row of the table in the Single-row view.

You can perform a search within Single-row view, just as you can in Grid view. See Finding rows in the results pane for more information.
