Select search columns

Choose the columns on which to perform a search in a new Object Manager window.

You may find that if you perform an Object Manager search within the object title, path, short description, and long description, your search returns too many results. You can choose which columns on which you want to perform a search in the Object Manager. Changes apply to new Object Manager windows and do not affect any Object Manager windows that are currently open.

To select search columns:

  1. From the workspace menu, select Session > Workspace Settings.
    The 1010data Insights Platform displays the Appearance tab on the Workspace Settings window.

  2. Click the Object Manager tab.
    The Insights Platform displays the Object Manager options.

  3. Choose the search columns by doing the following:
    OptionDescription
    To add a column to the search Click the Search Columns field and then select the appropriate columns from the drop-down list.
    To remove a column from the search In the Search Columns field, click the Remove () icon next to its column label.

    Note: After an option is selected, the Insights Platform automatically saves the setting.
